The Arborfield Aces Under 7’s team were proud to show off their new kit recently in the first competitive tournament ahead of the next football season.
The football kit has been sponsored by award-winning developer Crest Nicholson, who has also provided larger goals to help the Aces continue their journey forward and accommodate for more teams.
As Crest Nicholson continues their development of Arborfield Green with the launch of Barkham Place, they also continue to support the growth of the local community – of which the Arborfield Aces are becoming an important part.
The Arborfield Aces moved to their home at Arborfield Green in summer 2017, after Crest Nicholson opened up the sports pitches to the local community, and have since gone from strength to strength. They are now looking to recruit players for the Under 13’s, 9’s and 7’s squads for next season, as well as seeking younger participants for the Mini Aces sessions, targeted at 4-6 year olds.
Will Barnard, Arborfield Aces Coach said:
“When we first approached Crest Nicholson, we had one team. Crest listened to our wishes of making the club bigger and more inclusive of the Arborfield community and their support has helped us keep realising this dream. We now have three teams going into the new season as well as an ongoing commitment to Under 6’s by way of Mini Aces sessions on Sunday’s.”
Sammie Bryans, Development Director at Crest Nicholson said:
“We are extremely pleased to support the Arborfield Aces for a third year. They have continued to grow and provide a great activity for Arborfield Green, where they are very well received. We look forward to seeing what the next year holds for the club and wish them the best of luck as they look ahead to the next season.”
