The opening of Hazebrook Meadows in 2016 marked the creation of a new area of open space for both the new and existing residents. The name was chosen to show the evolution of the area from a former garrison to a natural green space for all to enjoy.
Crest Nicholson wish to honour the history of the site and take the views of the local community seriously. Having considered feedback from the local community and given the strength of feeling on the spelling of the meadows, Crest Nicholson have agreed with the Council to change this to ‘Hazebrouck Meadows’ and will be updating the signage shortly.
Crest Nicholson is committed to commemorating Arborfield Green’s rich heritage as the development progresses, most recently having funded a comprehensive and sympathetic renovation of the old infirmary stables and by commissioning the Arborfield Horse Sculptures by Amy Goodman.
